Buescher Aristocrat 'Series I' alto saxophone - Overhaul
A 'photo-essay', from start to finish.
This well-played alto arrived at the workshop looking sad, the finish an amazing assortment of colors due to many hours of use and life in Hawaii.
There was a whole lot of scrubbing going on, metal parts hand polished, key system completely re-built, eventually fitted out with a set of white Roo pads with the original Buescher 'pad-snap' resonators and all modern material key 'corks & felts'.
